Favell Lee Mortimer an 18th century author of scary children’s novels and geographic information such as ‘The Countries of Europe Described’, ‘Far Off, Part I: Asia and Australia Described’ and ‘Far Off, Part II: Africa and America Described’ surely takes the prize.
The funny thing is… Despite being one of the most popular English writers about the world and its people Mrs. Mortimer only traveled outside of England twice in here entire life, and one of those times was just from England to Scotland – lol.
