I saw some dude cooking this “thing” on the roadside in Indonesia a few months ago and snapped a pik.
Anyone have a guess as too what it is? (it smelled ok)

It looks like it could be a greyhound that wasn’t quite fast enough. Did you find out? Odd how about anything cooking over a pit looks good

I am pretty sure it wasn’t a dog, Indonesians only eat dog in some of the village areas, this was only a few miles outside of Jakarta.
Like I said it did smell good, the only reason I didn’t stop and ask is because I was in my car

I’ve smelled dog cooking in Hanoi, there’s an area where the places that serve it are clustered and I smelled it from a few blocks away, not knowing what it was at the time, but the smell DID NOT make my mouth water.
